SAM Glove is a data glove I am currently (or constantly) building. The original prototype (pictured below) was completed in late 2015, and the first fully-functional glove (which I am calling Version 1.0) was created in early 2016. Version 1.0 was first used in the composition Small Sigh, for data glove and Microsoft Kinect. The glove communicates via the Arduino platform and 4 flex sensors sewn into the index, middle, ring, and little fingers of the glove.
The final version of the SAM glove will include accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer sensing capabilities via the MPU-9150 9DOF chip, and will communicate with the computer wirelessly via bluetooth.
